Learning support at Mattison Avenue Elementary School takes on different forms throughout the day.  Students are supported in the areas of Reading, Math, Writing, and Spelling according to their Individualized Education Programs.  On occasion, students are integrated in the regular education classroom with supports provided as needed.  Student support groups are also formed based on skills taught in the regular education classroom.  With ongoing collaboration between the regular education and the special education teachers, the needs of the Mattison Avenue Elementary School are being met on a daily basis.
